Which Payroll Providers Publish Their Prices
Some payroll providers publish their prices; others want a form, call or demo first.
This table covers the payroll providers named on PayrollDetective, not the whole market. Each provider sits in one of three groups. Group A publishes a price on its own pricing page. Group B gives a price instantly through a form. Group C requires a sales call, a quote or a demo before any price.
Each pricing page in the table was saved between September 13, 2026 and October 30, 2026.
Counted by vendor, eleven providers are in group A, one is in group B and six are in group C. ADP and Paychex each have more than one product in the table, and every one of those products requires a quote, so 18 vendors fill 21 rows.
The professional employer organization (PEO) products from ADP, Paychex and TriNet all ask for a quote, while Justworks lists prices for its PEO plans.
Which payroll providers publish prices, group by group
The date in each row is the day that provider’s pricing page was saved. A vendor can change its page after that date.

What separates group A, group B and group C
A group A provider posts its rate on a public pricing page, so the starting price is readable before any conversation. Several of these pages showed a promotion beside the list price when saved, and the group goes by the list price.
Group B is listed apart because no price is posted for everyone to read, yet no call stands in the way either. Payroll4Construction’s homepage says, “Get a Free Payroll Quote Instantly” and “You will see your custom pricing right after submitting this form.” The price arrives only after the form is sent, so it is a custom figure rather than a posted rate.
A group C provider shows no price on its pricing page. Its buttons lead to a quote request, a sales call or a demo. The questions below quote what ADP, Paychex and Rippling each show in place of a price.
Where to read more about these providers
For a first payroll setup, the guide to payroll for a new business lists three providers that publish a full-service payroll price. The payroll providers page links the reviews, pricing pages and comparisons on PayrollDetective.
